Naruto fans and collectors are in for another treat as RocketToys 1/6 scale Hinata Hyuga is a standout release that blends anime accuracy with premium craftsmanship. Standing around 30cm tall, this figure captures Hinata’s gentle yet determined personality while offering the flexibility and detail expected from a high-end collectible.
Sculpt & Face Detail – True to the Character
RocketToys has delivered a head sculpt that feels faithful to Hyuga Hinata’s design. Her pale lavender eyes are painted with precision, with the default eyes looking serene and gentle, and then the alternative reflecting the Byakugan’s signature look, both with a nice sheen to them. The sculpted hair has depth and flow, thanks to the shades of blues and carefully sculpted hair strands; the wavey hair sculpt is gorgeous when equipped. The expressions on the faces are subtle yet unmistakably Hinata, striking a balance between calm with the regular face to determination with her Byakugan face that includes the raised veins.
Outfit & Tailoring – Accurate and Well-Fitted
Here, they’ve receated Hinata’s lavender and grey-ish jacket with meticulous stitching, hood with wire, accurate textures, and all while fitting well to the body. The jacket is equipped with a working zipper, which I straight up love! The dark ninja pants and shinobi sandals match the design of Naruto Shippuden’s Hinata. The materials feel reasonably durable, but as ever, care should be taken when posing to prevent damaging stitches or other elements.
Accessories – For Combat and Display
RocketToys equips Hinata with a variety of interchangeable hands, allowing collectors to pose her in combat stances, defensive positions, or casual postures. In particular, the signature accessory here are the Twin Lions – one for each fist! Applying the Lions can be a bit of a pain due to the sharp sculpting of the mane, but once done, Hinata can be displayed to look very powerful indeed. What’s more, both lions have a light-up gimmick (fixed, pulsating or flashing) for added awe.
This flexibility makes it easy to create both action-packed dioramas and calm display scenes, depending on how you like your Hinata.
Articulation – Smooth and Versatile
Hinata can achieve a wide range of poses, from gentle standing displays to mid-attack poses, though again, careful as you pose to prevent damage to clothes. The outfit hides the joints, but as you can remove the jacket, you do end up exposing the elbows, which admittedly aren’t that nice to look at.
Pricing
I bought mine from onesixthkit.com for over $200. It’s expensive, but also becoming quite standard for premium 1/6 Scale figures with mixed medium features. Purely on photo inspection, the quality RocketToys offer against ThreeZero, who also carry the Naruto license, is superior, though.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The RocketToys Hyuga Hinata 1/6 Scale Figure is a well crafted collectable, then. From her beautiful sculpted face and tailored outfit to her articulation and accessories, every aspect has been crafted with care (except the elbows?) For anime figure enthusiasts, this is a release worth adding to your collection, and if you collecting all of RocketToys Naruto line, this a fine addition.
Although not officially revealed, teases for Obito and Minato (Fourth Hokage) are out there, and the latter is one I am _very_ excited about!
