Short post, this, but I bought an Ikea display cabinet!

Normally I just open figures, pose, take a few snaps, maybe I’ll display on my desk, but for the most part near everything goes back in its box and dashed…somewhere.
But now, I decided let’s just try and get a cabinet on a low budget. I was after a Detolf, but it turns out Ikea have once again discontinued one of their best selling items. Maybe it was to do with the exploding glass shelves? Alas, I couldn’t find it used locally, so just sucked it up, grabbed a Billy with a glass door, and hey, here we go, a cabinet! I did also buy some glass shelves, so will play around with where I place those to replace the stock shelves.
It’s early days, so I haven’t really decided what to display; I just needed somewhere to put some clutter, so for now it’s just boxed figures and random Pokémon stuff. A part of me wants to display some videogames, Metal Build Gundam, some S.H.Figuarts, and some plush. Another wants a rotating section. I’m leaning towards rotating through the year, and having a slot for whenever I shoot my videos and get some footage of on-display looks.
Once I’m somewhat satisfied, I may post a video of the setup on my YouTube channel, so stay tuned.
Inspiration from a Fellow Hobbyist
I have to say, after buying the shelf I saw Battletide’s video which is really cool inspiration to spice things up. I may replicate the lighting addition in the future, for now I’mma keep it basic.
